Sneak Peak INSIDE 'Trick Photo and Effects Guide'
Inside look at the Trick Photography and Special Effects ebook for newbies and advanced photographers by Evan Sharboneau. I recently received this amazing trick photo overview and was extremely stunned at exactly what was within. With so lots of over-hyped sales pitches and impossible guarantees it was even more than I anticipated - although the sales page for Trick Photography and Special Effects 2nd edition to me personally, and did a great job of giving us an idea of what a large collection of photography effects is included and I was surprised that I was still able to learn more new techniques using the 'manual settings' on a dslr after reading Evans in-depth digital camera tutorials. So a general description of this guide has to be that it offers information and tips that span a huge spectrum of Digital Photography knowledge. I dont think that you could limit this book to any particular category. I specifically recall thinking that this book MUST have took a very long time and required alot of dedication and hard work - it was a constant thought throughout my 1st 3 or 4 times that I read the book. Which I found VERY comforting and re-assured me that I was learning some really great photography tricks from someone that is a true professional.

There are likewise alot of great tutorials on Photoshop and photo editing in basic. As I mention in the video, I actually tried alot of trick photo techniques WITHOUT Photoshop, the instructions and photo tricks inside Evans guide seemed to lead me to a place where I was understanding the 'concepts' of his techniques - not just memorizing the instructions. Photo editing is amazing fun, and I absolutely feel more confident than ever. . I don't think its 'Photoshop' that is being taught as much as its the photo 'editing' that I have actually discovered. Remember, the editing "CONCEPTS" are whats important these stay the same no matter which editor you use.

Paint.net is (at least in our opinion) the simplest option on the list. It still comes with a ton of powerful features like layers, adjustments, and user-created plugins, but is simple enough that complete newcomers can grasp it immediately. The features are across the top, and filters are accessible from a drop-down menu.
ReplyDeleteSome of the special effects are pretty cool: sharpen, blur, distort, emboss, etc. You can even get some Instagram-esque vintage effects in there for good measure. We don’t want to waste too much time on this one. It’s got a lot of features, an easy interface, and a simple layout. If you’re struggling with others on this list, then stick with the easiest option.
